SkyeWriter ships the spelling dictionaries and thesauri for English (UK and US), German, French and Spanish, and hyphenation for 43 languages. Every other language LibreOffice has is a package on this page: Review ▸ Dictionaries and Languages… in SkyeWriter lists them, and Download and Install fetches the one you choose into your own Dictionaries folder. The request is a plain fetch of one static file; it carries nothing about you or your document, and nothing else is ever sent. You can also download a package here and use Install from a File….

Every package is a LibreOffice dictionary extension (LibreOffice 26.2.5), zipped unmodified with its own licence and readme files inside; the licences are the dictionaries’ own — GPL, LGPL, MPL, LPPL, BSD and the WordNet licence among them — and are named in those files. SkyeWriter reads the files as data and changes nothing in them. The catalogue SkyeWriter reads is catalogue.json; each package’s SHA-256 is in it, and SkyeWriter checks the file it fetched against it before unpacking. Builds up to 0.1.158 ask skyehawkesoftware.com for a package and are sent straight here by that site; the request still names the one file and nothing else.
